Verified Circular‑Regenerative™

A new science-based, data-driven verification seal issued by the Circular Planet Institute (CPI) based on a patent-pending system and trademark for both practice and outcome-based circularity and regenerative agriculture.

Why Verified Circular‑Regenerative™?

Consumers demand transparency, retailers want credible verification, and producers need access to premium markets with added value that reflects their sustainability and best practices. To meet that need, CPI has introduced the Verified Circular‑Regenerative™ Program—the first global seal powered by real, field‑level data on circularity and regeneration as a single approach to closed-loop food systems transformation. This is a whole farm level approach that allows farmers to tell their sustainability journey holistically on a yearly basis, using data that is guided by technology and science to grant them new market access with added value.

Tools and metrics for verified Circular-regenerative.png

Verified Circular‑Regenerative™ Program Metrics Measurement, Tracking, and Tools

The program measures social, environmental, and economic metrics at the farm or field/product level using the science-based Circular Agriculture Platform (CAP) with AI-enabled recommendations and in-season agronomic support.

The Verified Circular‑Regenerative™ Process

This is a simplified five-step process for obtaining the seal for your product or facility. Below are the steps, all taken using the Circular Agriculture Platform (CAP) for baselining to in-season agronomic support and reporting.

Who can audit and verify the data entered in CAP?

For your farm audit to be accepted for Circular-Regenerative Status, the data must be audited and verified by:

  • A designated agronomist trained by CPI; or

  • Extension faculty or researcher from an accredited university or research institution who is trained as an agronomist or in agricultural sciences.

Who is not allowed to audit and verify your data?

  • You, your agronomist, or your crop advisor, even if they are trained by CPI.

Verified Circular‑Regenerative™ Renewal

This is done yearly before your first harvest using CAP to adjust only changes that occurred that year. This is to ensure transparency to the highest level with trust.
