Advancing Circular-Regenerative Agriculture for a Resilient Future
Circular Planet Institute provides models, tools, and partnerships that help farmers, food companies, investors, and policymakers transform food systems — from linear to circular and regenerative.
Our vision
Build globally resilient circular‑regenerative food systems that deliver profitable, nature‑based agricultural outcomes.

Our mission
We empower farmers, auditors, and partners with science‑based tools, models, and programs that accelerate the transition to circular‑regenerative agriculture.
Circular Planet Institute (CPI) is dedicated to accelerating the transition to circularity and regeneration in food systems. We believe solving today's climate, resource, and food security challenges demands systems transformation — closing resource loops, restoring ecosystems, and building resilience for future generations.

FOUNDER'S NOTE
From Farm Boy to Food Systems Innovator
Circular Planet Institute is where my personal story meets global purpose — a place where science, community, and innovation come together to regenerate the future of food."

Dr. Isaac Mpanga
Founder, Circular Planet Institute
Dr. Isaac Mpanga grew up on a farm in Ghana, where soil wasn't just dirt — it was life. His journey from classroom teacher to scientist and executive has been driven by science, purpose, and a deep desire to transform food systems from linearity to circularity.
With an MS and PhD from the University of Hohenheim (Germany), a faculty position at the University of Arizona, and leadership roles at PepsiCo and Yara North America, Dr. Mpanga founded CPI in 2022 to bridge the gap between academic research and practical, global impact.
He is the author of Circular Agriculture and currently teaches graduate-level Food System Transformation at Unity Environmental University.
