Our Strategies to Wasted Food Management

Capital, is one of the critical catalyst required for food waste management. At CPI, we developed the Waste to Carbon Credit initiative (W2CCi) to innovatively use voluntary carbon market to fund food waste efforts. W2CCi focuses on “food waste avoidance” as the priority that aligns with FLW reduction targets programs such as the US EPA’s Food Recovery Hierarchy and UN Sustainable Development Goal 12.3 and uses reputable globale standards for validation, verification, and registry.
